Information for Disability Service Providers
A goal of the AccessText Network is to provide disability service providers with resources to help support the use of alternative textbooks and technology.
Disability Service Providers are encouraged to join the AccessText mailing list to receive future announcements on resources.
The AccessText website wiki contains resources for disability service providers such as:
- Who is qualified to receive alternative media services through AccessText?
- What are file formats?
- How to choose the best textbook file format for a student?
- Help with in-house production.
- Are there out-sourcing vendors? How much do they cost?
- What technology is needed to access the content?
